Marilyn F. (Burchard) Lamoureux, 87, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 5, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of the late Paul W. Lamoureux. Born in Providence, she was the devoted daughter of the late Dorothy (Williamson) Burchard D’Amico and step-daughter of the late Henry D’Amico.
Lynn as she was called by most people was the loving mother of Paul F. Lamoureux and his wife Susan. She was the loving Meme of Jessica Lamoureux and Kimberly Fletcher. She also leaves her sisters, who loved her dearly, Norma Watson, Mary-Ann Sturgeon, Jean DiLorenzo and Nancy D’Amico, and also leaves many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Barbara Fontes, Beatrice Reynolds and Beverly Bruneau.
Before retiring, Lynn was employed by the CCRI bookstore and was a hostess for the Norwood Inn, both of Warwick.
Lynn will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 9th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. Her funeral will be held on Friday, May 10th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 3rd Street, East Greenwich. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
