Summer is just getting started although it has cooled down since the June heat wave. While the temperatures were in the 90s, photographer Barbara Polichetti visited the splash pad at the Kent County YMCA and Beacon reporter Adam Zanghari shot this “cool” shot of Lippitt School Principal Erick Pagan in the spray provided by Warwick Firefighters for the school’s “end of school” field day. The students willingly followed his example.
