Ellen M. (Burns) Cyronak, age 90, passed away Thursday, February 13,2025 at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel P. Cyronak, to whom she was married for 61 years prior to his passing in 2021. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Grace M. (Boylan) Burns.

She enjoyed trips to the casino, dining out, Polka dancing and traveling. She and her husband enjoyed many cruises together and traveled extensively throughout their marriage. Ellen had a love for conversation and people and enjoyed surrounding herself with those closest to her, family and friends alike. She will be missed tremendously by all those who knew her and loved her.

Ellen was the devoted mother of Debra J. Cyronak and the late Patricia J. Besse; mother-in-law of Michael F. Besse and cherished ‘Nana’ of Haley M. Besse. She was the sister of the late Genevieve Mathewson and Raymond Burns.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 8-10am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Ss. Rose and Clement Church, Long St., Warwick. Interment will immediately follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
