Charles J. Gibbons, 51, of Gardiner Avenue died Sunday. He was the husband of Joan M. (Haronian) Gibbons.
Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late John F. and Mildred S. (Stone) Gibbons. Mr. Gibbons was a self-employed carpenter and was a lifelong Warwick resident before moving to West Warwick three years ago.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Ashley M. Collier of Rock Hill, South Carolina. He was the brother of Sharon Simas of Warwick, John F. Gibbons, Jr. of Exeter, Gayle Blasi of Smithfield, Mary Gibbons of Warwick, Janet Chapman of Sacramento, California and the late Jean Tibbetts; grandfather of Natalie Collier.
