Eileen F. Hodge, 84, of West Greenwich, died February 15, 2020 at Brentwood Nursing Home in East Greenwich after a short illness.

Eileen was a well-known artist in Rhode Island. She could be found at the Scituate Art Festival in the fall every year. She was an active participant at the Wickford and Mystic art shows as well. Her art was displayed in art galleries throughout the state, including Sheldon Fine Arts and Dryden Gallery. Her works featured all the historical buildings throughout the state and brought them to life. Many scenes of Roger Williams Park are among her works. All the lighthouses that adorn the shorelines of Rhode Island were painted by her. If she was to paint your pet, you would be assured the end results was “your” pet.

Eileen enjoyed swimming. She could be seen every morning at McDermott Pool in Warwick for many years. She also enjoyed coloring at Coventry Senior Center.

She was a humble and kind woman and her friends will miss her dearly. Peace, Eileen!

She was the wife of the late Richard Hodge and sister of the late Barbara. She leaves a son, Richard Hodge Jr. of Texas, and two grandchildren.

No services were held.
